Title: Record breaker??
Post by: Gardengirl on March 27, 2004, 15:09:18
Have what I presume are mini narcissus growing in my garden.  Could they be the world's smallest (each flower measures 2cm) :-\

Got the same here Pat + tiny daffs called 'fairy'.

Beautiful little flowers!

Apologies to you Pat - mine measure 2&1/2cms - 3cms.  :-[
Maybe yours are record breakers after all.  :)

I don't think they are daffs Eileen as they are multi-headed, like the poeticus narcissi. I think they are called poeticus, but no doubt someone will tell me if I'm wrong :-\ ;)

You're right they're not Pat but I have small daffs as well as tiny narcissus (just like yours) in the garden.

Also got some bright red mini tulips in leaf but no flowers yet. They add a lovely splash of colour when they appear.
