I see the BBC was back to its best last night on BBC2...I am talking about the sadly missed Fred Dibnah, what a clever bloke he was and he made things sound so intresting.
Ahh, Fred, the only man I know who could make a traction engines workings interesting!
ehhh they don't make accents like that any more.
I think OH is Fred's love child spirited away at birth, so although I love his programs, I can't appear to be too interested or OH'll have me out in the garage polishing bearings or painting cast iron. Actually, there is a 1904 stationary engine block in the conservatory as I type, being painted gradually.
Ho Hum
>:( B****r s**t D**n I missed it >:( and I must have missed all of his old Beeb shows as I have been watching them now on a freeview channel and must say I enjoyed them very much. ;)
What a character what an accent (luv it) ;D Smashin blork, no wonder he went thro so many wives :o leaving his oily cap on the bedpost overnight, blurgh!! ;D
Roy do be careful, think of your blood pressure ;D Must agree what a great character.
