Title: Ideas from all you chefs at heart
Post by: jellywelly on July 10, 2006, 09:27:12
So, at the allotmetn yesterday I dug up some smallish salad like potatoes, 1 red onion, a couple of shallots and all of my garlic, I also have some purple podded peas that need picking.

What would you suggest I do to make the most of my bounty for tea 2nite?

Seconded. but ony if using proper french mayo or making your own.  Hellman's or any of the other mayos that are modelled on american mayo kill all salads stone dead and makes everything taste of plastic... IMO!
