Blimey! Are you a market gardener!!!? Very tidy, very productive. Is it one single plot or have you taken over neighbouring ones when they were unwanted/neglected?

Benettsleg........ yes and you could say yes, I used to be a market gardener with the rest of my family up until the early 80s.,and I have taken over neighbouring allotments which were neglected each time that I have finished digging one. The allotments where the peas, cabbage, potatoes and cauli are were all about 3 ft high in grass before I got to work on them and where the leeks are those allotments were  over 8 ft tall in brambles and docks. There are about 10 allotments in all now which nobody wereprepared to take on,funny but everyone seems to want one now (over my dead body). I put a lot of hours and hard work in getting them to look like they do now but,I will say that I really enjoy gardening and do not mind spending what spare time I have on them.

PS  there are still 2 more allotments on this site which are in a bad state think I might be tempted.

I see a business opportunity on the horizon: sub-let the plots by the square foot!
