Does anyone use them? Rating?
We were 'given' them - so we are a bit 'stuck'.
All the reviews rate it bottom.
We are currently offline more often than on. Can't be right.
Hence my non-existence today.
I changed to Tiscali from BT (as the BT connection kept dropping) and I have had no problems since I joined. I think once I could not connected but that was my fault in using a router to connect and the setting I was using and not using the free modem they sent.
The only thing you have to keep an eye on is they don't update your package when new one's come out that are better and cheaper. This is easy to change online and I have done this about 3 times ( and just checking it looks like its time to do it again in August when the 8MB is available :) )

we use eclipse and are very happy with them; friends use zen and are happy with them. i have not heard great things about BT, nor tiscali.
we and friends are heavy users, btw. downtime and speed are very crucial and has a big impact on the rating, as does ease of use/reporting of faults when they occur.
I switched from BT to Tiscali. Am happy. Then noted Roy's advice on reducing the price of my package, which included phone calls, & took it. Happier (and richer) still ;D

Started with Zetnet (mainly for Quake), then moved to freeserve, madasafish and a few others. Then a friend said to try one isp that just charged £25 a year - unfortunately a month after changing to them, they went into administration. We moved to BT and then got broadband in 2001/2? Stuck with them because we have had no problems at all, though I suppose we could shop to get a cheaper deal elsewhere.
We had problems to start with but once BT fixed their line it has been very reliable

I am using them, ok at the moment but had some horrible trouble not long after I started using them, it envolved loosing connection for 4days, trying to speak with their call centre in India, is as always great fun??!! after basically shouting at them and telling them they were rubbish etc etc (not the best way I know) I was re connected.
I did phone Uk customer services wishing to complain but was told I would have to write, which I did and am still waiting for a reply 6 months on.
In all I wouldnt rate them very highly, but only because of their customer support.
