Have been quite successful so far this year and wondereing if there is anything much to start planting now or not? ???
If anyone has any ides please post.
July can be one of the busiest months if you want - it's the last month of the pea and bean planting season here, and the first of the sowing and planting for winter crops :o
Can you narrow it down a bit?
What sort of things do you enjoy eating, and whereabouts in the country is your veg patch? :P
My plot is down south and just want to grow some fruit / veg bits, interesting things! Just some ideas!!

Do you have a pic of your plot l'pool? ;)
Do you have any protection?
I'm just sowing more cus to try for continuity.
I have also Tim, and another couple of courgette plants. Also sown more peas and french beans. I slack of sowing in July due to lack of water on the site, but pick up with avengance mid August. To be honest, I sow anything and everything. If I want it, I sow it! If you look through most seed catalogues, there are varieties of most things for most months of the year. If your site is cosy, or you can offer extra protection, then tender things can keep going way into winter.
When do you stop sowing broadies Emma-Jane? ::)
Thanks all - found this really helpful
Hi all,
I`m planting winter veg now as the soil is warm to get them off to a good start, and salad I`ll be eating a lot sooner. My turnips are doing well.
I`ll plant anything anytime as I clear yard wide strips of plot number two.
Best of luck, Col
(this is my first posting from work, lets see if it escapes through the security) ;)
Many thanks to everyone who replyed, have found it very useful. Cheers
