1st Bell pepper this year, variety revolution.
Woohoo! congratulations, that looks good! grown under glass?
amazing - so quick
when did you plant them?
When sown?
yes - that's what I meant to write
Sown 18th March, potted on 26th April, these banana peppers were sown at the same time. These peppers are in the same GH as the tomatoes and are treated the same. I have another GH where I'm growing sweet potatoes, aubergines and melons which I'm keeping at a higher temperature (approx 35C). The peppers in this GH are sturdy and strong plants, but no flowers, hence no fruit. Outside peppers are doing well with small fruit. Point is peppers do not seem to like it too hot.
Gob smacked!
Only got a few flowers so far!!!!!
Jerry
Thanks - am a very long way behind. Next year can you post a reminder for me about when to get started !

Well done you!
Jerry
(Just had a nice meal of my own toms...... ;D ;D ;D)
Blimey, Mike B, how d'ya do it! ;D Just got the start of a couple of chillies, one or two slight swellings indicating toms, and lots of beginnings of courgettes but no male flowers to pollinate to fruition! Anyone else as far behind as me? ;D :-\

I find the potting on time is critical, the longer you leave it, the longer it takes for the peppers to flower etc.
Mike
ooo, lovely. Mine is about 2 inches big now, hopefully I'll be stuffing it towards the end of July !
Mike I don't know anything about growing peppers (I am still learning how to grow most things :) ) but from other members posts you have come up trumps. Congratulations.
Lorna.
mine are just coming into flower! except my sweet peppers, they have some way to go yet :(
