Title: Purple sprouting problems

Hi all, hope you can help. Got some healthy looking purple sprouting growing here in Spain. The problem is at the joints theres brown stuff looks like dark crumbly ear wax!!!! UURRgghh Sorry for that!! no signs of creepy crawlies! What could it be????? Thanks in advance XX

if there is brown stuff then there are creepy crawlies about. look closer?
the brown crumbs are 'poo'

Thanks Svea! None of the plants seen to have been eaten!! After going out there with the pooper scooper whats the next step??

hmm

the plants are fine, you say?

is there anything bigger that the plants are standing under? trees? shrubs?
unless you think this brown stuff has anything to do with the PSB directly, it's probably blown on, fallen down from a tress, or something.

or do the plants look sick??

sorry it just sounded like the little poo crumbs i often find when i have caterpillars about.
