Title: calabrese & caulis for sowing now
Post by: Salpott on July 03, 2006, 13:31:43
Can anyone recommend good varieties of these for sowing now?  I've had a good crop of caulis from a really early sowing, but didnt really plan for succession very well.

Or is it too late to sow these now?

Ta!

Can't think off hand, but saw in the observer? or was it saturday telegraph that they say it is possible to sow brussels, kale and that now, although they said it was a bit on the late side. Was it Sarah Raven's article?

Cauliflower 'All the Year Round'.
Not my tip - I don't grow them.
No need - my lottie neighbour swears by this variety and grows more whoppers than he can eat all year :o

I've started some 'all year round' to follow on from my calabrese.... dunno if they'll work but if an old hand reckons it works then I'll try it!
