If you remember to sow cauli in the autumn this is what you can look forward to.

One advantage is the lack of butterfly problems growing over the winter. I am very pleased as they have shown no sign of club root having been pot rasied right through the winter.

Cheers Jerry. They look brilliant.I have to admit that, so far, my attempts at growing cauli's have been pretty poor, although I did manage a couple last summer.
Do you keep them in individual pots all through the winter, and then plant them out in early spring?
The reason I ask is that  my previous attempts at over-wintering (spring cabbages) have tended to get clobbered by the slugs.
Either way, I will give it a go and let you know how I get on.
   Thanks for the advice-Marky. :)

Yes, in pots right through winter to avoid problems with Club Root.

Thanks

Cauli cheese, plain steamed cauli and cauli and stilton soup for later in the feeezer.

I trianed cold cauli soup today and it was great in the heat!
