Allotments 4 All

No idea if this will work very well but here goes.

Took the camera to the plots this morning and decided to try a video rather than pictures. The quality is not great but see what you think! I will be moving the files to my Blog and there will also be another update soon, maybe today if I get time.

Clicking on these links should open up a browser and you can then click on the video to run it. There is sound too as well:

That was fun jerry, loved the commentary!
Sadly plot 1 froze on me after the borlotti beans, may just be a temporary glitch, but I got to see plot 2 in all its glory. Your mown paths are fabulous!
What better occupation for a hot day than to sit in a cool room snooping around other folks' plots?

Thanks all, glad it worked but shame the quality is not great. Next time I shall use the proper video camera rather than the point an click camera!

Nice idea that jerry. Although the first vid did freeze up for me too part way through. The second one was fine but did miss not having a commentary - was there meant to be one?

I know what you mean about hearing your own voice on these things - I have a video and audio function on my digi camera and am always taken aback when i speak into it and play it back. Mind you you come ove rok on yours. Not sure if i'd want to do the same on a video of my garden! Mind you it'd be tricky to do it justice in 3 minutes, so would have to be in 2 or three parts!

Hmmm, it seems a bit hit and miss. Both have been fine for me from different PC's and there is sound on both. I think the problem my be with the web site it is hosted on.

Just tried it again. The sound on the second video seems to be working this morning.
