First one came out last night.  This is a self-seeded one from last year and smells lovely.   ;D G x

Hi again Flossie.  If you mean 'Sylvestris' then yes I have.  I grew mine in pots and I swear mine were bigger and better than the ones in Hampton Court which were in huge borders.   ;D   :P  But I found they were too large really and the ones I grow now which reach about 3 feet suit my small garden better.

I like going out late in the evening and watching all the moths feeding on them, I've never seen a reaction quite like that from any other plant.

I grew some of the 'Sylvestris' from seed this year, is quite telling of the variety of soil conditions we have in our garden as I planted them in 4 different places and they have behaved differently and flowered at different times in all of them.

but they are at least 3 ft high, smell divine, am very proud of them..

just got my self a new camera, so will have to take some photos, need to practice with it.
