No gardener in the world will throw away a decent bit of strong wire...my latest use for a bit of old wire coat hanger was lots of 'hooks' for fat balls.
What have you used them for in the garden?
Ken,
..would agree....what a very useful tool they are....
...used mine for everything from removing car stereo's (my own), to small cloches.... ;D
and of course they are very handy for hanging clothes up in your wardrobe. ;) ;D ;)
Emma Jane must pass your handy tip onto my husband. ;D ;D ;D busy_lizzie
BL, my pleasure, kinda hoping Ava would read it and pick up that handy tip! ::)
Won't work, ladies. When the men see what they can really do with them their clothes will be like mine, on the floor, bed, chair, door, washer, table......
you got it right Ken! ;D ;D ;D busy_lizzie
Changed my mind now about you coming to live in Scotland - I've already got a man as messy as you - you'd only encourage each other! :P
Oh! You were thinking of sharing me?
Another use for wire coat hangers; When you next pot up an indoor plant that is tall enough to need support, starighten out the hanger, put a 'curl' in one end and feed it up through the hole of the pot. Plant your plant and the wire will do as a support. Boom, boom.
.... and if you put a curl in the top end, you could hang it up as well!
By 'eck! You is beating me at my own game, Ceri. (That's my sister's name.)
