Just been to look to see how it's doing and I see one plant has a 'baby' growing halfway up the stem, tiny little cloves.Should I leave it or remove it? Does anyone know please?
They can be used to propagate new plants but take about two years to producem anything worthwhile - they are also delicious so this is what I would use them for.
Oh the teeny bulbils? yes, wonderful taste, tiny cloves, no skinning.
I have a load frozen for instant garlic when we can't be bothered to go to the shed for a new bulb!
