Title: Barbecue ash
Post by: RobinOfTheHood on June 20, 2006, 13:47:52
Does anyone know of a use for it? Would it be high in potash, for example?

I'm thinking onions.... ???

Charcoal ash would be ok, but briquettes could have some coal content, which you may not be so happy about. I am uncertain whether this would actually be detrimental though.

I'm going to try some on one of my Sweet Potato sites, as they like potash, being grown by slash and burn in the tropics!
;D

Tomatoes have been well topdresed with barbi ash (as in barbeque not the doll) and are growing like triffids  ;D
