I found this site while googling for borage:

Nice browsing, gorgeous seed packets with botanical illustrations. Shame it's in the US :'(.
Some seed packets in the US are definitely works of art. I have a small collection of embroidery charts taken from vintage US seed packets, and hope to work them one winter, how sad is that ;D ;D ;D
Hi Dandelion, :D
If you want some borage seeds, just send me a pm with your address & i will post you some, I bought a packet last year, sowed 3 or 4 & now they have self seeded every where, so I don`t need the seeds ny more 8)
Adrian.
Hi Adrian. I have 3 borage plants (but didn't know what the plants were, so posted a plant ID message). I was googling simply to find out if it was an annual or biennial. Thanks anyway for your offer!
Wow, beautiful illustrations indeed!
Supersprout: where'd you find the embroidery charts?! i do crafty things like this too and i'd like to embroider some seed designs onto a set of kitchen tea towels. do they come from a book, or the web, or???
Thanks,
FarmerFen

Ebay! But I can photocopy what I have if you think you might like them :)
They are gorgeous SS. They remind me of the watercolours created by a trainee botanical artist in the prog 'A Year In Kew' Did you see that ? Was on TV some time ago.
Supersprout: ooh yes please! that'd be super. i'll PM you my address.
ps. this being our first year of growing anything, i think it's more likely i'll post to this site pics of my embroidered crops! hee hee.
I planted some borage about 3 years ago. It is everywhere. I am taking it all out. It is in the garden though not a lottie.
