Title: Help with bean variety
Post by: Little Bean on June 19, 2006, 18:18:05
I have been given some seeds by a lottie neighbour but do not know the variety, neither does the lady who kindly donated them.  All she knows is that they are yellow beans (I assume french beans).  They are very distinctive shiny, black seeds, almost round in shape.

Don't know whether or not they are dwarf either.

Can anyone help?

I know of two sorts that might fit the description:

Pole Bean Meraviglia di Venezia (flat pods)
Climbing French Bean Anellino Giallo
