Our clan of stick insects seem to produce little piles of the stuff, so my conservatory plants are all getting a dose every time we clean them out. ;D Amazing how such small bugs can produce so much poo! If they were the size of horses and pooping that much, one clear out would cover my allotment :P
any manure is good manure, even the green stuff! My "pet" source at the moment is a woman who keeps some hens and ducks as pets... when the heap gets up to shoulder height I go with back and take it down to about knee height!

My guinea pigs are doing a fine job, and the soiled hay from the hutch helps with the composter (also, the G.Pigs like eating the weeds - so that helps).
I have a friend who has a few African Giant Land Snails - they produce a HUGE amount of rich poo, which she swears by.
Our hamsters are pretty mean with their poop :-\, but of course, all that soiled sawdust goes straight onto the compost heap - so they are fogiven! :D So, the fish tank water, feeds and waters the plants in my conservatory, the stickies are fertilising the plants in there, the hamsters are single handedly filling my compost heap...what do the ants in the ant farm do? Nothing except escape!! ;D
I use chicken poo and guinea pig poo and wee... well not used it yet - thats what im stock piling and put on my lasagna heaps.
Horse and goat poo is what we use, seems silly not to since we have a readily available abundance
I started to compost paper so when I looked in compost bin yesterday, well, the slug/snail "poo" was almost the colour of the reddish-orange paper I had put in.
How about pigeon poo,I have a friend who keeps racing pigeons and has an unlimited supply.I'm not sure though ???.
Bird poo is extremely strong and should be used carefully. The best bet might be to mix it with compost, or alternatively put it on in small amounts at a time.
I use Bedfordshire Finest!!!
Don' think i have told you guys the story about Manuel (the OH to be)?
he works from home now and a woman came to the door and fed him this long yarn about her horse manure being the finest around, seived umpteen times, ages for 5 years etc..... does he want some?
Being desperate to please as he thought I would be delighted and said - I will have 50 bags please.....did not think he would have to pay or anything... lady disappears with a grin on her face, comes back an hour later with 50 freezer bags.............and demanded £1 a bag.
Love is - spending £50 on sh*t to please your future wife ???? ;D
