Check for greenfly they can often cause tightly curled leaves, esp. the new ones in the centre, then squish!

Curling up or down?
Neatly like a cigar or wavey irregular curling?
Are the leaves distorted or malformed?
What variety are you growing?

Mine turned upside down last year, but no bugs or other problems - just turned out to be something they do  ;D  Big crop off of only a few plants, and we're still eating the produce!!

A few of my plants have done this, the whole stalk hastwisted over so the leaf is now upside down sticking out on the other side of the plant.

The new leaves on some of mine start sort of crumpled, but straighten out as they grow.
