Title: Beans and Blood, Fish & Bone
Post by: Common_Clay on June 16, 2006, 11:04:27
Hi all,

I sprinkled some blood, fish & bone around my french and runner beans a while ago. Some of it got sprinkled over the leaves and I didn't think to brush it off at the time, thinking it would fall off itself with either movement or rain. Anyway, I've found that on those leaves, it's stuck like the proverbial dirty blanket and the leaves affected have turned yellow. Should I remove these leaves or just let them either wilt or recover on their own? I hope I haven't damaged the plant too much.

Thanks for any suggestions  ;D

What a waste!!

Belt & braces, I would take the leaves off, if not too much of a hassle.

Though not a poison, too much of a good thing can cause distress.

And you diligently hoed all the rest in?? And watered thoroughly?? If not, it's doing no good.
