Title: Peonies from seed?
Post by: daisymay on June 16, 2006, 07:11:00
Hiya,

I have some peonies in my garden which are just finishing flowering and seed pods are forming in the centre....

what is the best thing to do now? let them drop and grow naturally? or collect them and start them off in a tray etc..? not bother as they are a nightmare to germinate??? just enjoy what I have and let them multiply naturally!

Plant them fresh, put the pot somewhere it won't dry right out and forget it. With any luck, they should be up next spring.
