Title: Pink Fir Apples
Post by: katynewbie on June 14, 2006, 13:40:17
 >:(

Two of my Pink Fir Apple spud plants have been given a razor cut, I think it's slugs. None of the other spuds have been affected. Is it just me, or do the revolting molluscs have something against PFA?

I don't grow PFA, but I do grow Anya, which is a cross between PFA and Desiree. I grow about 12 different varities of potato and Anya is the only one that has leaves with slug damage.

It does seem to be on many molluscs gourmet list, I switched to Anya as well, being early enough to miss most of the blight, but they are not quite as nice as a spud!
