Dont know why it is but there are only 5 people on site and yet it is taking between 3 and 8 minutes to open up a topic and about the same length of time to post a reply. Getting a bit fed up with the speed or lack of it I must admit. I have not bothered answering a fair number of postings because I have had to wait for so long I got fed up and went elsewhere.
I've checked the server, and all is OK, it could be your internet connection.
Is anyone else having problems today?
I was thinking the system is very fast today ??? As Dan says, it could be your internet connection. Hope it improves soon !

It seems ok to me too ...
It is only this site which is this slow. All the others which we go to are operating at normal speed. In fact Microsfot Update went through fastr than ever before!
It has speeded up a little now, but not able to describe it as speedy.
Thanks for looking at it Dan, This morning it is faster but still lagging well behind The BBC, Real Gardeners and Gardener's Corner.

It may be worth asking your service provider to look into it, the internet works in a very strange way, and it is possible that your ISP is having a problem with some sites.

We were having quite bad performance issues a couple of weeks ago, but I tweaked quite a lot, and things look like they are running fine now.
Let me know if you speak to your ISP, what they say.

All is normal here...strange!
This is silly. Up to lunchtime or so it was slow, but a lot faster than yesterday. So I thought I had better test it again with the watch before going to my ISP and asking. Speed is not normal for my set up on Dialup.
