As you know Lorna (jnr) was taking me on a day out to Hatfield House/Gardens tomorrow. This morning the coach firm have returned her payment (with£10 holiday vouchers) as they have had to cancel the trip due to not enough bookings :'( Bit late in the day (dog booked in kennels) but they are a very reputable local firm and I suppose they wait until last minute hoping for new bookings. Oh well £10 for Lorna when she books us on their next London Eye trip probably Sept. I think they have full bookings for that as there were no seats left on their last one. Gardening for me tomorrow ;D

Awww, that's dissapointing Lorna. I guess the good thing is the weather is fantastic so it will make for a good day in the garden. :)
Aw!! Lorna how disappointing for you, what a shame, when you were looking forward to it and had made those arrangments. Hope you can have a trip out soon - in the meantime have a nice relax in the garden, - the weather is beautiful now so you can soak it all up. That is what I long for, just a day of doing nothing, a beautiful day, a deck chair in the garden, all the meals organised and sit and listen to the radio, and read and doze....my idea of heaven! :) busy_lizzie

I hope this will cheer you up. You remember how you asked me for some purple sage and I said I'd take you a cutting? Well I did a few weeks back and now it is well rooted so it will be in the post on Monday. And hopefully it will look like this in the not too distant future. ;D G x

Georgie. Many thanks, I wonder how you keep track of all the requests which are made to you :) Will probably be quite happy in the garden tomorrow still lots to do. Things are coming on quite nicely IMO. I bought 10 surfinias (half price) which I am going to put in the baskets tomorrow. They are packed in such good "things" I am going to hold on to the two,you never know maybe one day I will have something that you would like ;D Bleeding heart??

There's no secret Lorna, I just write it down in my gardener's note book which I keep by the pooter. If I didn't write it down, I'd never remember I can assure you. Oh yes, you have a white bleeding heart I think you said? An off-shoot of that would be lovely. ;D

Georgie the bleeding hearts was from memory. I lost a load of notes on here when I had problems. I couldn't remember which colour you wanted. My two have just finished flowering. Do you know when I can split them? Have made a WRITTEN note now :) Two new things I had as presents this year were Dahlia. Bishop of LLandoff and Mirabillis Jalapa (sp?). I expect you have got them but if not and you would like some tubers (is that what you call them) later on you are welcome.

I dunno, Lorna. Mine sort of gave off plantlets which I removed and potted on. Thanks for the offer of the other plants but I have the latter and I don't 'do' dahlias because they don't fit in with my scheme.
