Today :)!

The potatoes in their lazybed. One plant failed to come up (probably dug up by a fox), so I replaced it with a pepper plant which can be seen in the foreground.

This is the only bed which was properly dug. Mostly salad veg.

The strawberries were planted in a variation on the lasagna bed method and covered with weed suppressant fabric.

The rest of the plot has been covered with cardboard and hay. I planted pumpkins and nasturtiums in mounds of compost and manure.
Wow you have been busy! And fab pictures. Doris Pinks had a lasagne bed and I believe she had a HUGE success with it!
Very organised and neat!
Well done you! That looks great. What's the lasagne method? (I'd run a search if I could :( )
http://ourgardengang.tripod.com/lasagna_gardening.htm
It's a no dig method. Basically you build up a raised bed using different layers of organic material. I used carboard, half rotted garden compost mixed with chicken manure pellets, wet newspaper, some garden soil, comfrey leaves and banana skins, and finally multipurpose compost.
Wow. You must be so pleased. The pics certainly show how much hard work you have put in to your allotment. Thanks for sharing.
Lorna.
I love seeing other people's plots - thanks :) you have done well.

fantastic job dandelion. i wanted to use the lasagne method for our raised beds, bought a book and everything, but OH being a man he wanted to buy topsoil, so we mixed it with compost and now found that its far too sandy and needs sorting out for next year!
congrats though, loads of hard work been halved with couble the success!!!! :) :) :)
That looks excellent Dandelion! All that hard work has paid off. I love your pop-up greenhouse, what a great idea! busy_lizzie
