Title: dying pear leafs

have a very healthy load of pear trees, yet one of them there are groups of leafs that appear to be dying in clumps, no sign of any disease, anyone got any ideas?

i will have a look closely but would they cause the leaves to die., will check in morning:)

a lot of the leaves look like they are drying out,going to give it a good water in morning in case its a bit dry, but tree must be at least 15 yrs old

If it's aphids Phil, they would suck the life out of you!

ive looked and i couldnt see anything but will look closer tommorrow, if i find them, what should i do
