Title: sideshoot on Solanaceae other than tomatoes

Tomatillos, physalis and some chillies produce sideshoots much like tomatoes, can these be removed and propagated like tomato side shoots?

Yes,and tomatillos under cover can get very vigorous,so some pruning would not be a bad idea.  Might be repeating myself-the site/my server is playing up
