Title: a dunce question

i know how to insert a quote into a post but how do i nsert a portion of a quote? i can only work out how to insert the whole thing and not just the bit i want. i know it is probably simple, but hey, so am i ;D

Yes. so it does.
One merely deletes the bit of the quote you do not want to use and proceed as normal,  otherwise.
