last year i grew one habanero in a large ornamental pot approx 12" diameter.due to lack of space would it be possible to put 3 jalapeno chillies in the pot?it is a fair size but would it affect yield and/or overall plant size.

I'd say 3 plants to a 12" pot was pushing it unlesss you want small yields.
