Title: Giant Butter Beans

Can these be grown in this country and if so, where can I buy seed beans. Thanks....Dinger

No is the basic answer, they like it even warmer than soya beans and they are on the edge!

i was told that any white flowered runner bean makes a good substitute!

And you can use White Emergo . It is a good one to eat green as well. taste fine, like the white butter beans. Mr Fothergill o325. They do best in the greenhouse though. White flowered runners are better in hot conditions.
These beans are great to have in the garden. worth growing :P
