Title: Help, something is eating my swede seedlings
Post by: dingerbell on May 29, 2006, 09:06:49
Went to the Lottie and found that all of my lovely swede seedlings have been attacked. They are full of tiny little holes as if a miniature beastie has been making lace doilies out of each leaf. can anyone tell who is the culprit, how I can dispose of the blighter and will the swedes recover? Answers please in a brown envelope to Sad Dinger, the Lottie, South Somerset.
Thanks...... >:(

the same bugger who attackes any other brassica leaves - flee beetle.

dust with derris - the plants should recover fairly quickly.

They made a mess of my peas, they seem to be worse if the ground is very dry
