Love the pic ;D

It's brightened an otherwise grey rainy dismal day for me here in B'ham.

Very good, made me smile ;D ;D

Metcheck was spot on today.  I was at the plot by 10, redug the bean bed and put up the canes, ready for planting out tomorrow, bit of weeding and general pfaffing and it started to rain at 1pm.  glad I checked the forecast, as I normally 'do' the house first then go to the plot in the afternoon.

Strange thing tho, when I returned to the car - parked on the road just outside my plot, I discovered that I had forgotten to lock it :o and that the wheelie bag that had been in the passenger side foot well, was now on the drivers seat and had been rifled through :o  Nothing took their fancy as it just contains my training kit - marker pens, blue tak etc.

Taught me a lesson...........

It makes you feel weird though, that someone has gone through your stuff. Someone went through my car one night last year as it sat on the drive. I shouted at the kids in the morning for making so much mess and leaving all their stuff all over the seats! opps!

The rain here is just unrelenting. I have lots of stuff to plant out tomorrow & a huge lump of concrete to remove from one of the beds. My OH saya he'll help, but i don't think his help includes getting soaked!

I'm trying to get more beds dug but it's such heavy going. The ground in really soggy in places. My soil varies from very light to big seams of clay and the digging's giving me muscles like Popeye! Still it's better to do it now than wait until it bakes hard.

i always used to go by the theory that if you left the door open, at least the little darlinks wouldn't break a window to get it.

;D

The forecast for today on ITV teletext three days ago was,
A fine dry day with long periods of sunshine.
Then 2 days ago,
Bright sunny day with broken cloud,
1 day ago (yesterday)
Overcast
Today,
Overcast and chilly with frequent rain showers.
Hey, thats exactly how it is, well done weathermen for getting it right, I don't know why people criticize you you actually got it right. Doh

Hahaha, love the pic! ;D No rain here today just yet but I'm sure there will be some later, we haven't had a rain free day for longer than I can remember now.
