Post by: sandersj89 on May 25, 2006, 10:53:13
Thinking baout going to the Hampton Court one this year, never been before. Is it any good?

Do I need a whole day or will a afternoon evening ticket be enough?

Thanks

Jerry

My mum said that Hampton Court is better than Chelsea. I have only been to Hampton Court - if you go on a nice day, can have a picnic! Tis a huge place. Can't make Hampton Court this year because methinks I have an Open University tutorial to go to on the Saturday (could be wrong!).
Whole day probably better, if you get the weather.

I went for the first time year for the whole day and still didn't get to see everything. A very nice show and one that I would consider going back to. Its ceratinly worth it and the best bit is- you can buy plants! Dan :-)

I went to Hampton Court last year, full day and could have spent more time there - ahem and more money  ::)  Everything just happend to fall into me bag guv!

I haven't been to Chelsea, so can't properly compare like with like, but judging by the tv, the crowds at Chelsea wouldn't be my cup of tea.

I would recommend the whole day - so much to see & a big site. Also the opportunity for a few pit stops of whatever variety you want.  We go every year.

Whole day, so much to see and do.  One tip tho - whatever you do, don't drive........the train station is only a short walk across the river and goes into Waterloo.

Have fun.
