Title: Sweetcorn Question
Post by: Gordon on May 24, 2006, 13:19:28
Hi Everyone

I have growing 15 sweetcorn seedlings in pots. My question is when i get up in the mornings and sometimes in the late afternoon I see what look like water droplets on the end of the leaves is this something I need to worry about?

It is all down to Transpiration, the leaves giving of excess water. Sweet corn seem to demonstrate it very well.

As do cucumbers, I get a shower every morning under the cucumber plants in the greenhouse later in the year when they get to the roof of the greenhouse.
