Can you believe it - we have snow falling at around 1200 feet above the house - the hills is covered. I'ts feels like an autumn day - freezing. Judgeing by our meconposis I recon were around 5 or 6 behind. Will there ever be a summer this year?
and i've just been pelted by giant (well pretty big) hail stones!
SNOW.. :o It has sure ben a very funny late spring.... I am pleased I am only 32 feet above sea level in the Don Valley...
That border terrier on your avatar looks a cracker ...Cheers ..Jim
I hope the sun comes to Lairg before the 17th June, I don't think I'll fit 2 weeks worth of winter clobber in the car :'(
It's hailing right this minute in Milton Keynes..... :(
Bitterly cold, torrentail rain and gale force winds here in West Lothian!!! :(

It's sunny in Luton ;D
We are being washed away here, I have lost dozens of plants to the torrential rain and gale force winds, plants snapped at soil level, or pots that are lakes despite being raised up and being well drained; the rain falls faster than it runs out. This is the wettest drought I have ever experienced. Still at least I have managed to store plenty of rain water, should the drought rematerialise.
Whoops, now we've got hailstones the size of golfballs and an almighty thunderstorm, I should learn to keep my gob shut :-X
Sunny now, but at 10am this morning when I was working, down came the rain, had myself my very own wet t-shirt competition as I was soaked to the skin in seconds! 20 minutes later, glorious sunshine! Windy here now, but the sun is out. We are taking the kids camping at the weekend.....gulp!
blimey. its mad isnt it. its not too bad on the south coast today (at least my bit antway), it hasnt rained for the whole morning. a few black clouds about. i ...oops spoke to soon, its just started to chuck it down. my allotment is going mad with weeds. at least i managed to get some stuff in yesterday for the slugs. yummy corgettes. ::) good luck with the camping EJ, take plenty of board games.
The sun's back, grass has grown another 6 inches

lol! At least the clouds are interesting to watch ..... I suppose..
We're getting hail right now. It is battering my patio survivors. This is getting painful now. It is the squash that seem to have suffered the most, their big leaves have really caught the wind, and they seem to resent the soaking.
Had a massive hailstorm on Sunday @ 8pm, was cutting the sorrel back for a new flush of leaves, in the rain when the heavens opened! Had just put first toms out into cold frame to harden off.... rushed over and in my hurry dropped the third light and it broke, suddenly I was juggling 3' shards of glass.... ended up in cas but at least I've still got all my tendons! In the allotment corner of the staffroom it looks like a clearing station for the Somme.... another colleague had put a bamboo cane right through one of her fingers!

Washed the car in the rain this afternoon, doing my bit for water saving! Let the rain do the rinsing!! :D
