Squash are about my favourite food, and the thing I'm most looking forward to having but....mine have been decimated by slugs. They actually went PAST the protective circle of courgettes to get them :(
So does anyone in London or SW London area have any spare squash plants that I could have?? I also head down to Cornwall regularly so anywhere close to the M4/M5 or A303 ;)
Not a huge lot to swap as this is my first full year on the plot, but I have lot of carrot, runner bean, and pea seeds. I'd also be happy to get you whatever seeds you need in exchange for healthy plants, as you'd have made the effort to grow them for me ;)

I have some spares: pumpkin Vif rouge D'etampes and some Italian ones (from a packet of mixed pumpkins and squashes) if you're prepared to pick them up from Harrow. They are not really postable! pm me if you'd like to see a photograph of the plants. I don't need anything in return.
You're not too late to plant seeds. I bought some Marina di Chioggia in Italy last year on holiday over the Whit Bank Holiday, so they were planted early June and I got some of my best squashes from them. Have a few spare seeds of several types if you'd like to pm me - but no Marina left I'm afraid!
