Canassia, hardy geranium, Solomon's seal and giant rhubarb, all taken yesterday before the thunder closed in.
your camassia looks fantastic Robert :D, mine has flopped over and produce very few flowers, perhaps it's getting too much shade where it is.
Mm :) I'll have to give camassias a go :) Don't remember seeing your garden before Robert?
I don't know whether it's being by a stream or what, but the camassias go from strength to strength. I think they probably like sun, but I haven't checked.
i love solomon's seal ;D
nice plants ,thanks for the trip around the garden
thanks for putting a name to the mysterious green stuff that's growing like topsy in the neighbours border (that i'm tending atm as i haven't got a neighbour)!
Solomon's Seal !!! ;D
Nice pics Robert - love the Canassia :)
So do I. These are another Geranium, and Iris reticulata flowering behind the first one.
~Thanks for the tour - it's a beautiful garden
It's a shambles actually. Loads of weeds and very badly laid out. It does get better though, slowly.
Robert,
I love the blue geranium. I have a couple of the pink one's (think they are called phaem's?) but never seen a blue one :)
I can't even remember what species it is, but I do remember that it came from the local Tesco's just after I got the plot, so it can't be anything rare.
