Title: carnivorous plants

my brother bought my little girl for her birthday a grow strange and wonderfull things kit ( Argos cat ) she has sown everything at least twice  the carnivorous plant is sundews  (drosers spp) it says in the book that it takes up to 6 weeks for the seeds to germinate dose any one else think that most children would of forgot about this within a week and also dose any one have a plant similar and be able to advise me  on the best care for this plant  thanks loulou

Carnivorous plants aren't hard to come by; I've often seen a selection in Homebase. I used to grow Sarracenias, but I've never really tried Drosera. There's a supplier here: http://www.littleshopofhorrors.co.uk/customer/home.php
