but it's a first for me ........... a whole bowl of the stuff. yum yum.
and a supplementary question too. if i've got a heated g/h, can i grow this all year ?? ::) and if so, why haven't i done it before. :P
you don't need a heated greenhouse, i grow mine in a cold greenhouse border over the end of winter/early spring, dug it up last week as the hot spell made it bolt :(
and i don't know why you haven't done it before ;D/shades
by the way it looks lovely hope you enjoy it ;D/shades x
hee hee never ever having to buy a pack of squashed limp manky stuff again, feels kinda nice.
had loads and got more for lunch tomorrow - just brill.
and i do promise to try not to post a pic of every single thing that i manage to grow, but i can't guarantee that i won't.
;D
Oh, DO!!
Looks fantastic - enjoy.
The sun's just come out down here........ >:(
i'll try and keep it to the first crop of each variety ... you never know Tim you might be lucky, that might be the first and last.
;D
bet it tasted nicer than that crap limp brown at the edges stuff too. gorgeous pic, please keep posting them.
Very nice MrsKP :D
;D
Great pic Kay Pee! It cannot be said too many times, NOTHING beats the thrill of eating stuff you have grown yourself!
;)
Equally, NOTHING beats the skill of CONTINUITY.
well there's plenty more where that came from and i've sown a couple of extra rows for when the cutting and come again stops and will "continue" to do so from now on in.
;D
yum ;D
They look fantastic MrsKP! My Italian mixture is up too, and they are so nutty and tasty - bought ones just seem utterly tasteless and bland in comparison. Well done for a great crop - lots of yummy salads in your house this summer. :) busy_lizzie
