Title: Rue
Post by: Mrs Ava on March 14, 2004, 23:10:21
Okay, another herby one, I also have Rue seeds which I sowed today.  Have googled them and not much to be found, but it seems it is a silvery leaved plant with yellow flowers and the roots can be used to make a red dye.  Anyone grow it and can give me oodles of advice please?  ;D

You'll rue the day you planted it, EJ - smells like cat pee. :o ;D

Lovely finely-cut foliage, tho. Small daisy-like flowers that are nothing special. Apparently dangerous to pregnant ladies? - Lish

oh nice Lish, how I look forward to it flowering already, and no worries on the pregnancy bit, 2.5 is more than enough for this gardener!  ;D
