Just a note to say if you are looking for dog insurance try marks and spencers.I have got my rottie female insured for £14 a month which includes no excess and £7000 a yr for treatment.Sainsburys wanted £50 a month :o :o !!!!!!! Most of the well known firms wanted at least £25 with £50 excess per claim.I have nothing to do with M&S just thought it was a very good deal.
When I typed word b1tch properly it replaced the word with pregnant dog!!!!!! Bizarre :o
Slippy fly,
We have our dog insured with Sainsbury for £10.77 per month, with a limit of £6500 per yr and a £50 excess.
I think its the breed of dog I wanted to insure that made my premiums so high.Other members of my family have their dogs insured for far less than I was quoted.
Slippy Fly,
Our dog is a GSD.

Slippy Fly,
Don`t know how your Quote arrived at that figure , we joined Online and the figure of £10.77 monthly D/debit is what we pay and have been paying for the last 4months.Our dog ( GSD ) was 3 months old, at the time.
I have no idea why it was so high I have applied 3 times and thats what I get.I did think maybe its because of hip dysplacia but GSD's are prone to it too.Nevermind I am with M&S now and I know there was no other insurer who could match that for my dog.
