It says don't be afraid to ask so I will ask but at the risk of looking a t*t.Does YaBB stand for anything? I've always wondered maybe its obvious  ???

You'll also notice quite a few people will post any old drivel just so they reach the YaBB status as soon as they can, this is very common on many forums ::)

As you say, just because you're a god doesn't mean you know a carrot from a cauliflower :-\

The term for posting drivel, in order to rack up a post count is 'post whoring'. Some boards suspend post counts all together to combat this behaviour.

:o I didn't realize I could type so much old drivel till I saw my Yabb God status, :-X I say ban the counter so we can continue with the drivel unashamedly ;D and get rid of that data base showing the World how sad I am spending my life on here ;D :P ;)
