well done!! your going to love it. keep phoning politely to ask how the lists moving, til they're sick of the sound of your voice. here's hoping for a quick turnover of plots, and a cracker for you when you get one.

I was 18th on a list for a while, total time on list was 3 years. People did seem to drop off the perch quite often though! It seemed to change all of a sudden in the last year, people changed their mind/got a plot elsewhere/died etc...so stay positive!!!

had a blast this afternoon, thoroughly enjoyable couple of hours. you're all potty and i felt right at home :P
gonna give the burd a ring and go look at the place, and make appropriate appreciative cooing noises.
when i got back either a small tornado or small child had run through the garden, stuff all over the place :o
i'm gonna nick a couple of bits of next doors garden til they move in and stick the new babies in there. my thought process is that i'll be keeping it tidy for them. ;D
maybe they'll let you use their garden if you give them some nice home grown veggies. we live in hope. you went down a storm at the plots too. tommy loves you, and your tatoo!!
I think it could be a lot sooner MrsKP. Every year around rent time, you usually find there is a bit of an exodus from sites when people decide they have taken on too much and don't want to pay their money to renew their tenancy. I would also keep plugging away and make yourself known. One of these days you will have one. :) busy_lizzie

had a letter back from No. 2 potential plot. they're waiting list is CLOSED ! and No. 3 hasn't bothered to return any phone calls so they don't deserve my enthusiasm and effort. ;D
some judicious replanning of the garden plot will be needed if i don't get a real one by this time next year. i can see paths being dug out cos i've just NOT GOT ENOUGH ROOM lmao
carrot bed will be moving too as i've got great plans for a lean-to against the shed.
how can they close a waiting list!! even if your number 99 i think you should be registered as in the queue somewhere. mays a busy time, could be number three assosiations secretary has been busy with their plot, lost your letter, forgot to reply........keep annoying them (in the nicest possible way), or go a walk down and show your face. YOU NEED A PLOT. (or you're going to have to build a roof garden). good luck.
