Everything except the autovents now finished. Sorry about the small picture, but im not set up to do full size ones. Hope you can all see it ok. Will have a good number of tomatoes, particularly sungold, cucumbers and raising all those important things which you can eat, marvellous !
squint ;)
That looks sooooo professional ricado, you up early to get a flying start before the rain?
Well done, look forward to seeing the jungle when you have it!
it was done over a period of about 2 weeks, including concreting the base. I wasnt going to dig into my newly laid concrete to fix the four corners, so i drilled through the base and fixed it there and inside with brackets too.
The only problems i had were that i broke 1 pane of glass before it was even out of the box ! doh ! and there wasnt enough bolts left to finish the door, so a quick trip down the local gc sorted that one.
Happy now knowing no matter how wet cold or windy it is outside, i can still garden in some way shape or form !
That looks great Ricado, really nice to see ;D
How much concrete did the base take in the end?
Concrete cost me £90 and was quite a lot of hard work. It could have cost a bit less as i hadnt filled in with enough hardcore, so where i should have put about 4 inches it ended up being nearer 6. i soon found this as id used half the anticipated materials but hadnt even filled a third of the area ! So in went a load more rocks, another trip for materials and we finished the concreting in the afternoon (after a 7.00 start). It always takes longer (ask your boss the same question ; !). But im glad its now finished and i can get back to the growing bit.
ooooooh, looks really good ... is just the inspiration I need to help me through the weekend - dismantling my promised greenhouse on Saturday !! yayee ;D ;D
