Title: Mulberry Bush - late or dead

a mate of mine went a bit bananas with the pruning and it's now flowered yet.

is he just late or has he killed it.

Does it have any leaves? it's deciduous, so I'd have thought it would regenerate even if it was cut right back. It might be a year or two before it flowers though, if it was really drastic.

apparently he chopped it in half, about 5 foot off !!!!!   thought his mussus would be pleased with him .........  ::)
