If you mean support then a cane or two should be enough, if you don't have a greenhouse then some sort of polythene structure will be needed for the indoor var.,
???

I use the three cane job-grow up one cane then at at around 3-4 ft pinch out the tip-put a cane either side-say 4ft?-run strings between them and train four side shooots.

But I have also seen great sucess another way and I`m going to try it with one cu this year, train the plant up a short cane-then quite early on take out the tip and train up two canes in a `V` formation. Just two side shoots.

I always take off those early one that grow on the main stem before stopping.

Just to be sure I've got this right ...
it's the side shoots and not the main stem that produce the fruit?
Do you stop the side shoots at all? ::)

So some say - but I get most from the main stem.

Side shoots are pinched out after 2 leaves beyond first fruit.

They say pinch out at roof height & let the 2 resulting shoots hang down. Never seems to work for me. I just train the main stem along the roof.

Take off all fruit up to at least 12" - 'they' say 2'.

Hi SS,hi Tim. All very interesting,I guess the only answer is experiment and find the method that works best?
