Hi All
I've got some sweet corn seelings ready for planting out (well they look ready anyway). Is it too early to get them in?
Well I have a warm spell forecast for the next week or so here in the midlands, so I have put mine out on benches in preparation for planting out ...
same here in london - i am on hols next week so will be planting them in tonight - so they can look after themselves better....
Planted ours out on Sunday. They're looking ok, last year they didn't do well at all - so fingers crossed for this.

Planted mine out last week - under enviromesh. They look fine and have definitely grown a bit!
They grow it as a commercial crop just down the road from me It has been
showing above ground for some time now. So you should be alright. The sweet corn farm has picked up a nick name . The Valley of the Green Giant.
right, my corn has to lump it or leave it - they are now on the plot, befriending the neighbouring tomatoes. i hope they will all get on well...
OK then - out they go! Survival of the fitest on my lottie!
mine all went out yesterday, we're in the south and forecast is looking good for the next few weeks. :)
Ours just gone out today--couldn't wait any longer--roots coming out of paper pots everywhere!!
think mine will go out this weekend - that way if they do get frosted at least there is just about enough time to try some more!
mine went out on Saturday as they were starting to wilt in the potting shed (its really hot in there) ...seem happy enough - have covered with fleece just in case.
I was wondering the same. Have been hardening mine off for a few days, think I might risk planting them out this weekend. Weather looks ok.
Ours is up, but isn't top of the list to go out, most plot holders are putting out Corn, cucurbits and Runners. I'm going to wait a week or two as we have an open day in a few weeks and many were killed by a late frost last year! ???
