Title: Saturation point
Post by: busy_lizzie on May 07, 2006, 17:41:24
Took this pic of our home greenhouse today.  We also have an allotment greenhouse with lots of stuff in and the house windowsills are liberally covered in pots with things in.  Is anyone else feeling cautious about putting things out?  I just don't trust the weather enough to risk it!  busy_lizzie

Our first year and desperate to get more things in the ground----planted out some dwarf French bean seedlings yesterday only for our neighbour to pass comment about the dreaded frosts and that they will all be doomed and die a horrible death so quickly erected a cloche for some protection!!

Well in sunny Essex the first batch of tender offerings will be heading out tomorrow.  I have at least 3 of each tom plant, so one of each this week, leaving me some backups.  The sweetcorns are no way near big enough yet so they will still wait at least three weeks, but some of the squashes are making a bid for freedom so they will be going out....tis a worry but I am like you BL, greenhouse is packed, conservatory is now just toooo hot and things are frazzling, and I even have things on the deck close to the house for protection.
