Just a thought, but if anyone wants some free advice before buying a system! please feel free to mail me!!
I'm not trying to say that I know everthing, BUT having worked and built PC's for a long time and a word to the wise is often useful!! Especially when buying second hand equipment!
Better that than those immortal words "You should have said" when it's after the event :'( :'( :'(

KevB. I think that is a very generous offer. We were fortunate that my son built my system but if he hadn't been around we would have been completely lost.
When we bought our last video camera my old boss gave us very useful info on them.

sorry , i should have been more specific. i wasn't slating anyone. what i meant was i think this site is wonderful, full of free advice, where people share their knowledge and ideas which I'm grateful for as I'm newish to growing and computers. i sometimes feel that someones going to come along and spoil things so jokingly meant don't let anyone else in.
Kev, you're gonna be a Boon and a Blessing to me when I finally bite the bullet and start shopping around. No idea at all what to look for.
