Title: Green Algae

A lot of my pots and trays with in the greenhouse
have a lot of Green Algae on the top of the compost
is this anything to worry about ie will it affect
the plants growing in them??

Quite often badly drained compost will cause that.

Break the surface up a little with a finger,it helps it to dry out.

It doesn't seem to do much harm in itself though.

I keep an old dinner fork in the greenhouse for tickling up the compost.
